I have never been as comfortable going to a Dentist as I have been with Dr. McAnally!! The comfort begins with his support staff and extends to Dr. McAnally and his dental team. The staff is very supportive, understanding and listened to my needs and fears. The dental Procedures are explained step by step with no surprises, which was important to me. The quality of care is excellent. The dental procedure was extensive and yet remarkably free from pain. The sedation provided was truly amazing, the procedures went flawlessly and the follow-up dental care has been terrific!

June of 2006, I had a date with destiny. I met Dr. McAnally and his staff for a free consult. Then I quickly scheduled a second appointment to hear the findings of my first appointment and whether there was something that could be done for me. Dr. McAnally informed me that I would be a good candidate for dental implants. Needless to say I felt overjoyed finally I could see a dream long awaited for coming true.
On January 3, 2007 Dr. McAnally and his kind staff unveiled my new smile. My self esteem soared through the roof. I have confidence that I never had before. I feel I can finally reach and attain my life goals. Dr. McAnally I thank you and your staff for making me feel special through all the visits, Surgery and finally my new smile. I’m forever grateful to all of you!

Based on previous experiences at other dental offices over the years, I found that even minor surgery was always very painful afterwards. My surgery was pretty serious that Dr. McAnally had to perform but I was AMAZED at how comfortable I was after my surgery. I was virtually pain-free, and I don’t remember a thing, unbelievable!

If we could land men on the moon in 1969, shouldn't there be wonderful technology in the dental office in the 21st Century?
At my office, there is!
I've spared no time and expense in treating my clients with the best technology that's available today. Here's a sample of all the tools that make your visit the shortest, most pleasant and most effective it can be:
Amazing Diagnostic ToolsThe Very Latest Technology Can Keep Your Bones, Gums, and Teeth Healthy
"I've never heard of a dentist doing DNA testing."
You've never heard of it, because currently for every 2,600 dentists, on average only ONE has this technology! And we're one of the few practices in the entire American Northwest to have it.
"What's the point of doing DNA testing in a dental office?"
The very latest research shows that your mouth is truly the gateway to the rest of your body. DNA testing allows us to catch dental problems as early as possible, and also to customize treatments for YOUR specific situation. That means we can better prevent tooth loss, and provide more effective therapy for gum and bone problems. Ultimately, we're after a higher level of whole body health for you as a member of our practice.

The surgical telescope makes esthetic enhancement better because I get an up-close view of the artistry I'm creating. It increases surgical comfort because it enhances accuracy, reducing the time I need to perform each procedure. It also helps with gum disease prevention techniques.
Intra-oral Camera--lets you see and understand what's going onThis is not only a diagnostic tool for me, but an educational supplement for you.
This camera looks like an oversized pen, and magnifies the surface areas of the teeth. It helps me to locate small pits and cracks that might be harboring disease. This up-close information is immediately available to both you and me on a TV monitor in the private room.
This visual feedback also helps you to see certain features in your mouth, and better understand my recommendations. For instance, it's possible to see the damage caused by old, metal amalgam fillings that expand and contract, and can cause cracking and breaking.
Ultra-High-Intensity Micro-Illumination Crack Detector--helps to catch problems while they're smallFrustrated by the inadequate lighting of regular dental lights, I was one of the first doctors in the world to seek out and adopt new cordless LED ultra-high-powered lighting.
As we get older, cracks are more likely to form in our teeth. If not detected and treated, these cracks can lead to sudden fractures. In some cases, the treatment must be a root canal or even loss of the tooth.
My team and I use this new high-intensity micro-light that illuminates the teeth from the inside out! It allows these catastrophic cracks to be seen with the eye to minimize the loss of teeth and need for root canals.
This light is so strong it also allows me to see some types of decay that are difficult to detect even on x-ray. This great tool improves diagnosis, enhances accuracy, and most importantly reduces your time in the chair with surgery and other complex procedures.
Laser Cavity Detection--catches otherwise undetectable cavities very earlyDetecting cavities is an inexact science. Fortunately, the best technology gives us a better view of disease at an earlier stage.
The laser system I use is a spectacular breakthrough in dental cavity detection. Before, nearly 50% of cavities went undetected until they led to root canals or even tooth loss. Now we can uncover disease more consistently and prevent significant tooth loss.
This special laser light harmlessly and precisely detects cavities. One of the most difficult areas to locate cavities is on the chewing areas of teeth and under and around metal fillings. The laser makes it possible for me to lift the veil on what used to be hidden areas of dental decay. All this is done safely, painlessly and without exposure to x-rays. In addition, this technology also means that only areas that truly have decay get treatment because all the 'guesswork' of previous cavity-detection techniques has been eliminated.
With Sedation Dentistry, You Feel Nothing!Even the most fearful clients can say goodbye to the white knuckle experience of going to the dentist.
If you've avoided the dentist for years due to bad experiences in the past, you can now comfortably snooze through even the most complex care, thanks to Dr. McAnally Sedation Dentistry.
Complex treatment that used to require many visits or even months of treatment can now be completed in as little as one single visit with my methods. Experience Dr. McAnally Sedation Dentistry just once and you will never be afraid to go to the dentist again!
No-Drill Dentistry Means No needle, No Drill, and No NumbnessOur no-drill dentistry is a leap into the future that allows removal of dental decay without the dreaded whine of the drill and often without the needle, too!
The technology uses forced air and a safe, small particle substance to etch away decay rapidly and without the vibrations and heat of the dental drill. It can get at decay sooner because it is a fine spray, so you can keep your natural teeth for life. Few clients need anesthesia of any type.
Dental Laser Works With No AnesthesiaWe use an advanced dental laser to gently and effectively treat the ravages of gum disease usually without numbing anesthesia. It helps stop the progression of tooth-destroying and bone-destroying disease. Laser treatment helps to eliminate the need for conventional, often painful, gum surgery in up to 75% of cases.
The laser can also be used to gently and artistically refashion the gum line. It can turn short teeth or a gummy smile into the smile you've always wanted. It also improves the result and accuracy of complicated dental procedures.
Needle Free Anesthetic Is a High-Tech Way to Feel NothingThis new type of anesthetic allows numbing of gum tissue for comfort during deep cleanings, without the need for the old-fashioned "stick" of the dental needle.
It has been featured on NBC's "Today Show" and in "SELF Magazine". I am proud to be one of the first doctors to adopt its use.
Advanced Local Antibiotics Puts Treatment in Just the Spot That Needs ItFor clients undergoing treatment to halt infections in the gum and bones that cause tooth loss, my hygienist often uses a type of antibiotic that is completely painless. This means the antibiotic is more effective because the infection is "hit hard" by its direct application to the problem. It also means that you don't expose your whole body to an antibiotic, so that medicine will remain more effective in the future against bacteria.
Medical Topical Anesthetic Pastes Ensure No More PainSay good-bye to feeling the dreaded anesthetic needle. I use a medical breakthrough that is a special medical grade anesthetic paste. It allows for completely painless injections. Clients can't believe that they just had a shot.
One-Visit Root Canals Are More Comfortable and Takes Less TimeThe root canal is a procedure that has kept many people away from the dental office-including those who might not need one--due to the bad reputation behind the term. Much of the fear came not so much from the discomfort, but from the technique used. In many offices, it's still a manual and imprecise mechanical process.
At my office, I use the latest technology. I can precisely locate the apex of the root electronically and with a computer-controlled device. I can then remove the damaged or diseased root efficiently and more comfortably.
